3月9日上午,潍坊市人民政府新闻办公室召开新闻发布会,正式启动第二届“陈介祺奖”国际篆刻大展暨2017系列金石文化活动,并就国际篆刻大展向海内外发出征稿启事,开启了今年潍坊金石文化系列活动的序幕。记者对陈介祺研究会会长陈新进行了专访,细致了解系列活动的相关情况。

Chen Jieqi has been recognized as the greatest epigraphy master since the 19^(th) century,who enjoys extremely high historical status in the fields of history,archaeology,calligraphy,collection and ancient character.He is one of the representatives of the cultural celebrities in Weifang.The purpose of holding the 2nd 'Chen Jieqi Award' International Seal Cutting Exhibition and2017 Series of Epigraphy Cultural Activities is to commemorate the 204 th anniversary of the birth of Chen Jieqi,further carrying forward the epigraphy culture of Chen Jieqi,rebuilding the printing status of 'Wanyin Building' and building the urban brand of 'capital of epigraphy' in China.From the first exhibition in 2014 to the second in 2017,the international seal cutting exhibition held every three years and Chen Jieqi art festival held every two years are the important steps taken by Weifang to boost the epigraphy culture to the nationwide and even worldwide,which will be held for long.
