调查区位于准葛尔盆地北缘,阿尔泰山南缘东段,行政区划属新疆青河县塔克什肯镇管辖。调查区西南距自治区首府乌鲁木齐市约650千米,北距青河县城约100千米,北距塔克什肯镇14千米,调查区西部及北部均有公路通过,有简易道路与公路相连,调查区内可通行汽车,交通较为便利。

The research area is located in the northern margin of Junggar basin near the eastern section of the southern Taishan,Al,administrative divisions under the jurisdiction of Xinjiang Qinggil County town of takeshenken.The survey area southwest from the capital of the autonomous region of Urumqi City,about 650 kilometers north from Qinggil county about 100 km,14 km north from takeshenken Town,the survey area of West and north of highway through a simple road and highway,the survey area can use cars,traffic is convenient.
