多应力区光纤应力各向异性研究

摘要 研究多应力区光纤的应力各向异性振荡特性。首先采用COMSOL Multiphysics软件中的固体力学模块,研究了三应力、四应力、五应力区光纤主应力差的振荡幅度。结果表明,对于呈周期性幅向分布的多应力区,应力区块越多,各向异性周期振荡幅度就越小-三应力区光纤的振荡幅度最大,各向异性程度最高,四应力区次之,五应力区则最小。最后对不同形状应力块的三应力区光纤进行了研究,得到了应力区块的条状程度越高,其主应力差的振荡幅度也越高的结论。这些结论对于提高手征光纤的特性具有重要的意义。 The stress anisotropy oscillation characteristics of the optical fiber with multi-stress elements is studied in this paper. Firstly, utilizing the solid mechanics module in COMSOL Multiphysics software, the periodic oscillation amplitude of the principal stress difference in the multi-stress elements optical fiber, such as the three stress elements, four stress elements and five stress elements fiber, are studied. The result shows that the more stress blocks, the lower amplitude of the anisotropic periodic oscillation when the stress elements are periodically distributed. The oscillation amplitude with three stress elements is the largest and the anisotropic degree is the highest, followed by fourth stress el- ements and then by five stress elements. Finally, the three stress elements optical fiber in different shape stress ele- ment blocks are considered. The result shows that the higher rectangularity degree of the stress elements, the higher oscillation amplitude of the principal stress difference. These conclusions are significant to improve the chiral optical fi- ber properties.
