摘要
中国菜传承了悠久的中国历史文化,是中国最具代表性的文化特征之一。本文通过追溯中国菜的历史和文化,列举了当前中国菜翻译所存在的问题,并且提出了三种有关中国菜英译的具体翻译方法。中国菜的英译,不仅方便外国友人对中国饮食文化的了解,而且传播了中国文化。只有结合历史背景,通过准确的英译方法,才能体现中国菜的特色。
Chinese cuisine is one of the most representative features of China. Recently, there are so many problems about the English translation of Chinese cuisine. In this paper, with the history of Chinese cuisine, three methods of English translations about Chinese dishes are listed. The translation about Chinese cuisine is not only helpful for foreigners, but also spread Chinese culture. Only by com- bining with the historical background and accurate translation methods, can translators reproduce the characteristics of Chinese cuisine.
