摘要
《八月:奥塞奇县》中的女主角维奥莱特对所有家庭成员都恶语相向,俨然是导致家庭不睦的主要责任人,她的多重社会角色都是失败的:她是失败的妻子、失败的母亲,也是失败的姐姐。本文尝试在社会表演学理论的观照下,通过分析其"后台"的生存状况及其遭受的心理创伤,揭示其社会表演空间的后台问题如何导致她在前台上演"失败"表演的。
