Analysis of the Culture of Ancient Sacrificial Music at Mugou in Xingyang

荥阳穆沟祭祀古乐是一种有关集体记忆的音乐,与民俗活动和民间信仰有着密切关联。它的主要接受者和传承者为当地民众,尤以村落中的农民为传播主体。荥阳穆沟祭祀古乐于2015年入选河南省级非物质文化遗产。它是在中原农耕社会与民间信仰的背景下产生的,具有独特的历史价值、民俗文化价值和美学意蕴。

The ancient sacrificial music at Mugou was about a collective memory music which was closely related to folklore activities and folk beliefs. The main recipients and inheritors of the music at Mugou were the local people, especially the farmers living in the villages as the main body of dissemination. The ancient sacrificial music at Mugou was selected as a provincial level intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province in 2015. This music origi nated from the background of ancient agrarian society and local beliefs and it has unique historical value, folk cul rural value and an aesthetic connotation.
