The main methods of 3D printing technology including selective laser melting technology, laser engineering shaping technology and EBSM technology were discussed; introduced the application of 3D printing technology in fire equipment including the repair of core components of fire equipment, the development of new fire equipment and manufacture of fire equipment exhibitions; and then, the development trend and challenges of application of 3D printing technology in fire equipment in the future, in the application of fire fighting equipment difficulties were forecasted.
