摘要
基于李善兰和伟烈亚力合译《代数学》的主要内容分析,认为《代数学》中的语言系统采用了中国传统数学的语言模式,逻辑推理也是来自于中国传统代数学思想之中。并且,从科学史角度来看,《代数学》首次引进了西方符号代数学的内容体系,是在中国传统代数学思想影响下进行的一次西方半符号化的代数学传播,使我国传统代数学的发展更具有科学性和系统性,为后来中国传统代数学的完全西化作了重要铺垫。
Based on the analysis of the main contents of Daishu Xue translated by Li Shanlan and Alexander Wylie,the linguistic system in Daishu Xue adopts the language model of Chinese traditional mathematics and the logical reasoning is also derived from the Chinese traditional algebraic thought. Furthermore,from the perspective of the history of science,Daishu Xue introduced the content system of Western symbolic algebra for the first time and it was spread to China as a semi-symbolic algebraic from west under the influence of the traditional Chinese algebraic thought,so that the development of traditional Chinese algebra is more scientific and systematic,which made an important foundation for the complete westernization of traditional Chinese algebra.
