Reality Therapy and Its Application in Solving College Students' Psychological Problems

现实疗法植根于存在—人本主义,是当前对大学生最有效的咨询理论之一。根据现实疗法的特点和当前大学生面临的主要心理问题,认为现实疗法能提高高校心理咨询工作效率,帮助大学生改善自身的行为,将有效解决大学生心理问题。

Reality therapy which takes its root in existence-humanism, is one of the most effective counseling theories to address col-lege students, problems. It highlights individuals’ choices and responsibilities, as well as current states, rather than symptoms and em-pathy. Problems facing present-day college students involve adaptability, social relations, love, sexual psychology, schoolings, em-ployment and career. This paper proposes that those problems can be solved by applying reality therapy so as to improve college psy-chology counseling work, and help college students improve themselves.
