摘要
激烈的市场竞争促进了我国通信设备制造业的迅速发展,持续提升其国际市场竞争能力。基于1998-2009年间10090个通信设备制造企业微观数据,分别从营销投入、市场盈利、市场份额、市场空间四个维度探究竞争强度对我国通信设备制造业创新绩效的影响作用关系。结果表明:(1)竞争强度与我国通信设备制造企业的创新绩效呈现倒U型关系,但受规模经济、创新租金等众多因素影响,在表征竞争强度的四个维度中,只有市场份额维度表现最为有效和一致;(2)不同细分行业的竞争强度不同,其中通信交换设备制造业的过度集中已对创新绩效产生负向影响作用,与此相反,通信传输设备制造业连续下降且已过低的行业集中度也对创新绩效产生了负向影响作用;(3)我国通信设备制造企业营销投入相对不足;(4)市场空间维度对创新绩效影响作用复杂,在有新产品产出的样本中,市场空间对创新绩效产生倒N型影响作用。
The fierce market competition has promoted the rapid development of Chinese telecommunica-tion equipment industry. Its international competitiveness has been continuously increased. The relationship between the competitive intensity and innovation performance of Chinese telecommunication equipment industry is addressed based on 10090 micro individual data during 1998 -2009 respectively from the four dimensions ofmarketing investment, market profit, market share and the market space. The main findings are as follows: (1) Competitive intensity has inverted U - shaped effect on the innovation performance of telecommunication equipment manufacturing enterprise. In the four dimensions of the competitive intensity ? Only the market share is the most efficient and consistent because of the influence of scale economy, innovation rent and others. (2) The competitive intensity varies with different sub - sectors. The excessive concentration of switch devices manufacturing enterprise has had a negative impact on innovation performance in the four sub - sectors. On the contrary, it also has a negative impact on innovation performance in transmission equipment industry while its concentration has been declining and been too low. (3) The marketing investment of Chinese telecommunica-tion equipment industry is relatively inadequate. (4) The influence of market space dimension on innovation performance is complex. It has an inverted N - shaped effect on innovation performance by using the samples with new product output.
