地方性大学:概念分析及其意义

摘要 地方性大学"这个概念无论在理论上还是在实践中都因"地方性"而被"曲解",影响了概念的实践力,同时在大众化阶段还有碍于高等教育质量的提升。"地方性大学"因高等教育大众化引起的大学分类思想而异化,大学的分类理论是一种总结性"报告",而不是一种建设性"纲领"。"地方性大学"首先是"大学"然后才是"地方性",因此应以"科学研究"为抓手,建设大学应有的学术性文化,在发挥法律所规定的三大职能过程中因"地方性"而形成自己的特色,成为一个具有个性的大学。
