Research on the Legal Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly

在老龄化日益严重背景下,老年人养老及其权益保障问题日益凸显。我国目前在老年人权益保障方面还存在着法律保障不到位,涉老法律制度不够健全,执法保障未能及时到位等问题,需要通过更新思想观念,健全涉老法律制度,强化老年人权益保障执法和专业化法律服务,加强老龄法律问题的理论研究等途径来进一步强化老年人权益的法律保障。

Under the background of the growing population of the elderly, the elderly pension and the protection of their rights and interests has become an increasingly overt problem. At present, there still exist some problems concerning the protection of the aged people＇ s rights and interests, such as the inadequate legal protection, the incomplete legislation, and the imperfect enforcement of law. To solve these problems and to further strengthen the legal protection of the rights and interests of the elderly, measures should be taken, including that updating the ideas, strengthening the law enforcement of the protection of the elderly rights and interests, improving the legal services for them, and enhancing the theoretical research into the legal protection of the old people.
