摘要
本文从焦点-背景理论的基本观点、理论特征出发,再分析和解释焦点-背景理论下英语强调句的倒装句结构的认知凸显和认知规律,及其结构的排列特点和组成意义与话语者的心理认知的一致性,同时以期通过探究倒装句的焦点类型对英语教学有所启示。
Based on the view and features of figure - ground theory, this article will analyze and explain not only the cognitive prominence and regularity of English inverted sentence in emphatic structures but also the arrangement features and the consistency between inversion meaning and psychological cognition of speakers. Meanwhile, to explore the figure types of inverted sentences will have implications for English teaching.
