Study on the Translation of Jane Eyre with Functional Translation Theory

文学翻译是中西文化交流的重要途径。不同文学作品的翻译需要译者采用不同的翻译策略,从而实现文学翻译的目的。《简·爱》是一部著名的小说,在中国有多重不同的译本。本文在功能翻译理论指导下,对《简·爱》的译本进行分析,加深对文学翻译的认识。

Literary translation is an important way of communication between Chinese and western cultures. Different translation strategies will be adopted by translators for different literary translation, so as to realize the purpose of literary translation. Jane Eyre is a famous novel, with multiple translations in China. Under the guidance of functional translation theory, this paper analyzes the translation of Jane Eyre, to deepen the understanding of literary translation.
