摘要
跨学科研究是日益复杂的社会问题的产品,在解决问题和促进科学知识的创新方面发挥重要作用。自1998年起,威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校(UWM)开始实施集群聘任计划,构建校级跨学科合作网络,以吸引更多教师从事跨学科研究和教学。分析了解其集群聘任计划的产生与实施进展以及运行机制,可以为我国高校跨学科研究提供有益借鉴经验,如:采用更为灵活多样的跨学科组织模式,设立专门的跨学科管理机构,制定多元化的跨学科评价机制。
The interdisciplinary research is a product of the increasingly complex social problems,playing an important role in solving problems and innovating scientific knowledge.University of Wisconsin-Madison adopts cluster hiring initiative(CHI)in constructing a campus-wide network of interdisciplinary cooperation to attract more faculties engaging in interdisciplinary research and teaching since1998.Analysis of the initiation,implementation and operation mechanism of CHI offers referential experience for the interdisciplinary researches in Chinese universities,which can adopt more flexible mode of interdisciplinary organization,set up special interdisciplinary department,and construct a pluralistic interdisciplinary assessment system.
