对大学英语翻译课程教学现状的调查与思考——以浙江省部分高校为例 被引量:2

摘要 大学英语翻译课程教学开设时间不长,为了解教学情况,以便更有效地培养学生的翻译能力,特对浙江省内的8所高校展开调查。调查结果显示:大学英语翻译课程学时普遍偏少;缺乏适用的教材和专任翻译教师;考试形式较为单一。通过对调查结果的分析,针对浙江省部分高校的翻译教学现状,就翻译课程设置、学生编班、教师间的交流等方面提出切实可行的建议。 It’s not long since the course “Teaching Translation to Non-English Majors”was offered.In order to have a general idea of its teaching and better cultivate students’translation ability, a survey was conducted in eight higher institutions in Zhejiang Province. The results revealed such problems of teaching as inadequacy of credit hours, lack of suitable textbooks as well as qualified teachers, and monotonicity of exam form,etc. A detailed analysis on the survey findings is carried out to shed light on the current situation of teaching in Zhejiang Province and constructive countermeasures are put forward concerning the setup of the course,class arrangements, and communication among teachers of translation in different universities.
