西周召氏仓廪缺贝诉讼案:六年琱生簋新考

六年琱生簋铭文中"公厥稟贝"应读为"公缺廪贝",是指公室仓库中钱贝缺失了,因此导致"告庆"、"刺为伯"的狱讼案件。并非一般学术界学者所说为土地讼诉案或家族财产分配而导致的族内讼诉案。在这一案件中,召伯虎是原告人,被告人是名庆的"为伯",琱生应是以宰官的身份为这次诉讼案提供法典并宣判的主判官吏,此案由司寇类"有司"初审结束后由召伯虎向琱生报告,琱生提供法典并判罚被告出玉璧偿还而结案。琱生因召伯虎仓廪缺贝案诉讼成功结案而作器祭祀烈祖召公。

In this case,Zhao Bohu was the plaintiff,the defendant was ＂Bo＂, aud Diaosheng should be the judge . The case was tried by by Sikou and was reported to Zhao Bohu, Diaosheng as -sumed the code of law and the defendant provided a jade for compensation and then closed the case.Diaosheng made a successful case.
