作为全球规模最大的非职业选手参与的远洋航海赛事,克利伯环球帆船赛自2005年落户青岛以来,双方6届12年的合作历程,“青岛号”大帆船扬帆全球推介城市品牌,见证了“帆船之都”青岛这座中国海滨城市的非凡成长。克利伯环球帆船赛已成为青岛市民两年一度翘首以盼的欢乐节日,为青岛建设亚洲帆船运动领军城市、促进青岛与21世纪海上丝绸之路沿线国家地区间的海上休闲体育运动互联互通，开发21世纪海上丝绸之路休闲体育发展带，提供新的发展机遇和强劲动能。
Clipper 2017-18 Round the World Yacht Race will arrive in Qingdao in less than 6 months.Now,with great excitement,we will formally publish the name list of 12 skippers that will lead the teams in the new season.Clipper Round the World Yacht Race,the world's biggest ocean sailing race for amateur sailors,has cooperated with Qingdao for6 consecutive times since its launch in Qingdao in 2005.The past 12 years have witnessed the sailing ship 'Qingdao' sailing around the world to raise the city brand as well as the fast growth of this coastal 'sailing city' in China.Clipper Round the World has become an eagerly anticipated biennial event for Qingdao citizens.It has provided development opportunities and powerful momentum for Qingdao in building a leading city of sailing sport in Asia,improving connectivity in marine leisure sports between Qingdao and countries and regions along the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road,and developing the 21^(st) Century Maritime Silk Road Leisure Sports Development Belt.
