摘要 文章采用我国30个省份1998-2012年的数据,通过面板数据模型考察了我国R&D投入强度以及R&D人员规模对创新绩效的影响,着重对东部及沿海地区R&D的投入产出效率进行了实证研究,并分析了引起东中西部差异的因素。研究表明,从全国层面来看我国R&D投入强度以及R&D人员规模对创新绩效均有显著正效应,并且东部及沿海地区这种正效应更加明显,我国东中西部R&D人员素质、企业和产业结构、人文创新环境等多因素的差异导致东部及沿海地区R&D的投入产出效率比中西部高。最后文章通过GMM模型研究了创新绩效的内生效应,并就提高我国的创新绩效提出了对策建议。 Based on the panel data from 30 provinces during 1998-2012 in China, this paper examines the impact of China’s R&D investment intensity and R&D personnel on innovation performance. Then we compare the impact of R&D input on innovation performance between China’s eastern, middle and western areas. The empirical result reveals that, R&D investment intensity and R&D personnel both have significantly positive effect on innovation performance, and this kind of effect is much more pronounced in eastern areas than middle and western areas. The reason why the innovation performance in eastern areas is higher than other areas is that there are huge differences between these areas, including the quality of R&D personnel, the business and industrial structure, the innovation environment and so on. Finally, this paper examines the endogenous effect of innovation performance by using GMM model,and gives suggestions on how to improve the innovation performance in China.
