给出了关于Geraghty型广义压缩映象的最佳逼近点的存在性与唯一性定理.所得结果推广了文献[11]中关于广义压缩的最佳逼近点定理,同时改进了文献[10]及[12]中相关研究成果.

In this article, some theorems about the existence and uniqueness of best proximity point for generalized contractions of Geraghty type are given. The results extend best proximity point theorem for generalized contraction of Reference[ 11 ] and improve recent result due to[l0] and[l 2].
