摘要
创伤书写是衡量小说中个体存在的重要维度,也是美国作家威廉·福克纳长篇小说《押沙龙,押沙龙!》的一个重要写作特征。创伤连接着过去和现在,罗莎·科德菲尔德拒绝对于自我、家庭和南方过去创伤的现代性遗忘,而从女性的视角,讲述了关于美国南方的创伤记忆。在创伤理论的文学层面,小说从创伤症候、创伤叙事和历史见证三个方面完成了历史创伤在个人故事中的消费,以及对美国南方历史转型时期社会现状的艺术表达,衍生出南方特有的创伤叙事,诠释了作者表征女性创伤,反思历史积欠的叙事追求。
With a strong history-consciousness, William Faulkner' s novel Absalom, Absalom ! presents a period of history of American South in the form of a female' s recollection of its tragic past. This paper makes an approach into Rosa Coldfield' s tragic life, her traumatic narrative features as well as the witnessing significance behind her case, and is supposed to facilitate the understanding of the writer' s reflection on history in his works.
