This article summarizes three types of errors in local chronicles, such as the names of local chronicles re- corded, the names of those who eompiledthe local chronicles, and the volume numbersof local chronicles. This arti- cle takesthe local chronicle entries in causes of the errors by analyzing the the Yiwenzhi of the History of Qing Dynasty as an example, and concludes the records of local chronicles.
