摘要
彭玉麟应刘可崖之邀,为其母九十三寿辰作《鄢太孺人九秩有三寿序》,寿序分五个部分,主要述说了彭、刘两家的交往情谊,以及对刘母鄢太孺人福寿兼全的评价、赞扬。通过解读寿序,可以看出彭玉麟心忧天下的情怀、对乡情、友情的重视、对未来时局的担忧以及对德孝文化的推崇。
At the invitation of Liu Ke-ya, Peng Yu-lin wrote a birthday essay for his mother to congratulate her on her 93birthday. The birthday essay has five parts and mainly narrated the relationship of their two families and evaluation and praiseof happiness and long life of his mother. Through the interpretation of the birthday essay, we can see Peng Yu-lin＇s feelings ofconcerning about his country and his people, his values of village emotions and friendship and his concerning about the futurepolitical situation as well as the value of culture of morality and filial piety.
