藏族原始计量方法探析

A Study on Tibetan Original Metrics

在查阅文献资料、走访和调研的基础上,对藏族地区解放前后的长度、面积、容积和重量的计量方法进行了初步梳理、归纳和分析。文章认为,这些计量方法是藏族社会生产力方式、社会制度、文化融合、市场经济发展过程中早期阶段的产物,尽管单位复杂多样且量制混乱,但仍处于不断提高的过程,在一定程度上推进了社会的发展和进步。

Based on documentary materials and field surveys, the current article conducts a preliminary categorization, summarization and analysis of the metrics systems related to length, area, volume and weight used in Tibet around 60 years ago. These metrics systems are the results yielded from the initial stage of the development process of a comprehensive synthesis of the productivity, social institutions, and market economy of Tibet. Although the methods and units of the metrics systems seem somewhat chaotic and insufficiendy unified, they still bear significance by virtue of having played a positive role in the improvement of society, and their continued evolution.
