Textual Research on Lingsi Bridge in Ancient Yue State

桥梁是水利、交通的产物,是人类活动的重要见证.灵汜桥是越王句践时期越国城东的一座历史文化深厚、神秘的桥梁.因此桥现已不存在,经多学科、多角度的研究考察,已基本确定灵汜桥位于今绍兴城东五云门外原钓桥与梅龙桥之间的浙东运河上的小凌桥遗址地.由此同时确定了古文献记载中的灵文园、阳春亭、山阴故水道等古越城东重要标志性建筑及景观方位.证明此地为吴越历史文化交流的重要场所,系句践时所建的一个王家后花园、交通枢纽和迎送之地.

Bridge is the product of water conservancy and transportation,and is an important witness of human activity.Lingsi Bridge is a mysterious bridge with profound historical culture in under the rule of King Goujian in ancient Yue State.The bridge has dissolved into nothingness.According to multi-disciplinary and multi-angle investigation,it is almost determined that Lingsi Bridge should be located at the ruins of Xiaoling Bridge between Yuandiao Bridge and Meilong Bridge along the east Zhejiang canal,outside the present Wuyunmen in eastern Shaoxing City.And at the same time,those important landmarks and landscapes in ancient Yue State are ascertained,such as Lingwen Garden,Yangchun Pavilion,and Shanyin Waterway,etc.It can be concluded that Lingsi Bridge is an important place for cultural and historical communication in ancient Yue State,as well as a royal garden and transportation hub built under the rule of King Goujian.
