摘要
目的:观察IL-17和IL-18在慢性牙周炎中的作用。方法:选择25~60岁慢性牙周炎患者和牙周健康者各20例,检查其牙龈指数(GI)、牙周探诊深度(PD)、附着丧失(AL)、出血指数(BI);用whatman3M滤纸条对患者进行龈沟液提取,牙周炎患者在基础治疗6~8周后再次提取龈沟液。酶联免疫吸附法(ELISA)检测龈沟液中IL-17和IL-18的水平,并进行统计学分析。结果:慢性牙周炎患者治疗前龈沟液中IL-17和IL-18的水平明显高于健康组(P<0.05);基础治疗后龈沟液中IL-17和IL-18的水平明显低于治疗前(P<0.05),但仍高于健康对照组(P<0.05)。患者治疗前GI、PD、AL、BI均高于健康组(P<0.05),基础治疗后各项指标均显著下降(P<0.05)。GI、PD、AL、BI的变化与龈沟液中IL-17、IL-18浓度的变化呈正相关。结论:IL-17、IL-18与牙周炎症程度密切相关,可作为检测牙周健康状况的指标。
AIM To study the level of IL-17 and IL-18 in gingival crevicular fluid ( GCF) in patients with chronic periodontitis( CP). METHODS: 20 patients with CP and 20 age - and gender-matched healthy subjects (aged 25 - 60 years) were included. GCF samples were collected from all subjects with Whatman 3M paper strip. Non-surgical periodontal therapy was performed for the patients. 6 weeks after treatment, GCF samples were obtained again from the patients. Gingival index ( GI),probing depth (PD),attachment loss (AL) and bleeding index (BI) were assessed. The levels of IL-17 and IL-18 in all the GCF samples was determined by ELISA. RESULTS: IL-17 and IL-18 levels were significantly higher in GCF of the patients than those in healthy subjects before and after treat- ment( P 〈 0. 05 ) . In patients they were decreased significantly after periodontal therapy (P 〈 0. 05 ) . All periodontal parameters were ameliorated after periodontal treatment(P 〈0. 05) . IL-17 and IL-18 levels were positively correla-ted with IL-17, IL-18 levels and periodontal destruction. CONCLUSION: IL - 17 and IL - 18 can be indexes for per-iodontal health.
