摘要
汉英篇章构建方式彼此相异,表现于其基本单位——小句(句子)的结构特点以及篇章中的回指、关联词、话题推进方式等方面。本文通过汉英篇章实例的对比分析,发现汉语篇章结构具有块状性和离散性,而英语篇章结构具有勾连性和连续性,这是句法结构特点向篇章的延伸,反映了汉英两种语言背后的时空性思维方式的差异。
Chinese and English differ from each other in textual construction, mainly in clause structure, a- naphora, conjunctive words, progressive modes of topics, etc. The conclusion this paper reaches after a contrastive analysis of instances is that the textual structure in Chinese is chunky and discrete, and that in English is cohesive and continuous, which is an extension of syntax characteristics to text, and a reflection of the discrepancies in spatiality and temporality hidden behind the two different modes of thinking in Chi- nese and English.
