With the continuous development of contemporary education, the case study mode has gradually become a major model applied in contemporary classroom teaching, as it eliminates the limitations of the traditional teaching model, so that students can become the main body of the classroom, and can take the initiative to participate in research and analysis. This has developed the unlimited potentials of students. In this paper, the case study mode is analyzed in detail, and the characteristics and advantages of the mode are found. Then, the application strategies of the mode in ideological and political course are put forward. The writer hopes to further improve the quality of ideological and political classroom teaching and the enthusiasm and initiative of students, so as to provide a solid theoretical basis for contemporary classroom teaching.
