Overall Planning of Urban and Rural Residents Medical Insurance and Fair Benefit for the Insured People——the Practice and Thinking Based on the Practice of Tianjin

天津市自2010年起,建立了统筹城乡的居民医疗保险制度。6年多来的制度运行实践表明,统筹城乡居民医疗保险是建立更加公平可持续医保制度的必由之路,是实现医疗保险制度在更高层次上更好发展的关键所在。

Since 2010 in Tianjin, it has built the coordinated medical insurance system for urban and rural residents. After six years of operation, it is showed that the coordinated urban and rural medical insurance system is a mandatory approach to establish a more equitable and sustainable medical insurance system, and a key step to achieve a higher level of the medical insurance system.
