壮泰语人体同源词的时空范畴认知

A Cognitive Study of Space-time Category in Zhuang-Thai Cognates of Human Body

壮族与泰族是同根生的民族,两者为"同源异流"关系,拥有一定数量的人体同源词。用人体词引申表达时空概念是人对客观事物最基本的认知方式之一。借助认知语言学意象图式理论,通过分析壮语与泰语人体同源词隐喻在空间与时间范畴上的认知基础与意象图式表征,可以揭示两者在时空范畴认知上的异同,为语言与文化类型学提供重要依据。

Zhuang and Thai are nationalities of＂different branches of the same origin＂, sharing a cer- tain number of cognates of human body. It is one of the most basic cognitive style to extend human body metaphors to space-time concept when human beings perceive objective things. This paper adopts the Image Schema Theory of cognitive linguistics, analyzes the cognitive basis and image schema which are showed by Zhuang and Thai＇s cognates of human body metaphors in space-time category and reveals cognitive similari- ties and differences of the space-time category cognition in both languages in order to provide important ref- erences for language and cultural typology.
