LeEco: thriving or dying?

Letv soon took flight as a true Internet company, with seamless content experiences fueling its industry-leading hardware and intuitive software. It has created a new business model that is believed to define the next era of technology – the ecosystem era. Eco Action,which means ecosystem plus chemical reaction, is a promising strategy in YT Jia's mind. However, the company's 2016 annual report shows that the net profits of shareholders see a year-onyear fall of 3.19% for the first time in eight years. At the same time, YT Jia released a letter for shareholders, which states clearly that LeEco will turn losses into gains in 2017.
