The technology of virtual simulation experiment teaching plays an important role in medical education. It is also a necessary complement to traditional medical education and the important content of medical education informationization. The paper makes a brief introduction to the necessity of setting up virtual simulation laboratory for preclinical medicine in local medical colleges.
