摘要
作为教育和心理测试的一种应用形式,翻译测试应该对现行“效度”理论的呼唤作出必要的回应,即翻译测试的主办方最少应该就内容、反应过程、内部结构、与其他变素之间的关系以及实施后果,采集并举出有关的证据,从而使测试分数的意义透明化,使测试结果可用。
As an application of educational and psychological testing, translation testing should answer the calls of current validity theory. That is to validate or provide supporting evidence for the proposed uses of a translation testing program within the validation framework of current test theory. To make the meaning of test scores transparent and hence the result of a testing program usable, translation test makers should at least provide evidence with respect to content, response process, internal structure, relations to other variables and consequences.
