Clinical Application of Jiawei Xiaoyao Powder in Dermatology

加味逍遥散也称为丹栀逍遥散,出自明代薛已编著的《内科摘要》,由逍遥散加丹皮、栀子而成。有疏肝清热、健脾和营之功。主要治疗肝脾血虚,化火生热所致的烦躁易怒,遍身瘙痒;或潮热晡热,自汗盗汗;或头痛目涩,怔忡不宁;或颊赤口干,头目昏重;或月经不调,肚腹作痛;或小腹重坠,水道涩痛等证。本方临床应用广泛,可治疗内外妇儿多种疾病。在皮肤科主要用于治疗白癜风、黄褐斑等色素性皮肤病;痤疮、酒糟鼻、斑秃等皮肤附属器疾病;以及皮肤瘙痒症、神经性皮炎等与神经精神障碍相关的皮肤病;还可治疗慢性荨麻疹、红斑狼疮、白塞病、银屑病等多种与精神情志相关的炎症性皮肤病。

Jiawei Xiaoyao Powder also known as Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder. It was originated from the ＂ summary of internal medicine＂ that compiled by Xue Ji in the Ming Dynasty. Jiawei Xiaoyao Powder is composed of Xiaoyao Powder with Cortex Moutan and Gardenia. It has the function of heat-clearing and dispersing stagnated liver qi,invigorating the spleen and harmonizing Ying（ Nutrient Qi） and Wei（ Defensive Qi）. It is widely usedin the treatment of dysphoria,irascibility,itching,afternoon tidal fever,spontaneous and night sweating,dryness of the eye,headache,palpitation,or facial flushing,dry mouth,heaviness and dizziness,irregular menstruation,stomach ache,abdominal bearing down sensation,urinary track disorder that caused by liver and spleen blood deficiency,liver constraint transforming into fire. Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder is widely used in internal medicine,surgery,gynecology,pediatrics and so on. It could also be applied in the treatment of dermatology diseases,for example： pigmented dermatoses such as Psoriasis and chloasma; diseases of skin appendages like acne,acne rosacea,alopecia areata; skin pruritus and neurodermatitis that particularly associated with neurological disorders; inflammatory skin diseases caused by emotional factors,like chronic urticaria,lupus erythematosus,Behcet’s disease,psoriasis.
