摘要
清末,修筑铁路成为社会各界普遍关注的问题。随着政府和绅商集团对铁路重要性的认识发生重大转变,自办铁路被认为是挽回利权的主要手段以来,加上清政府对铁路修筑权的开放,中国出现了一个商办铁路的浪潮。在此背景下,安徽省开始筹议商办芜广铁路,但在修筑过程中由于资金困难、管理层频繁变更、地方主义阻碍等问题,商办芜广铁路困难重重。民国初年,在铁路国有政策的推动下,芜广铁路被收归国有,并入宁湘线的筹建之中。
In the late Qing Dynasty, the construction of railways became a common concern of all sectors of society. With the major change of the government and the gentry business group's view on the importance of the railway awareness, the railway was considered to be the main means of saving power, coupled with the Qing government on the opening of the railway construction rights, a commercial railway wave appeared in China. In this context, Anhui Province began to discuss the business of Wu Guang railway, but in the construction process due to financial difficulties, frequent changes in management, localism and other issues put Wu Guang Railway in difficulty. In the early years of the Republic, under the impetus of the state-owned railway policies, the railway was reverted to the state and merged into the Ning-xiang line.
