《左传》中的楚庄王事迹与楚人的华夏认同意识

The Records of King Zhuang of Chu in ZUOZHUAN and A Sense of Huaxia Identity of Chu

《左传》记载楚庄王的诸多事迹。其中,问鼎一事反映出楚人重视政治权力的合法性,而其论"武德"则体现了楚人认同华夏文化,这可能与楚贵族逐渐接受华夏教育有关。《左传》中所载庄王的事迹,表明当时楚人认识到华夏认同对其争夺霸权意义重大,在认同华夏时重视政治、文化而非血缘的作用。结合《左传》中其他记载,可看到春秋时期所谓的"蛮夷"已经受到华夏观念的影响,并逐渐认同华夏。

There are some records of King Zhuang of Chu in ZUOZHUAN. The story that he asked about the weight of nine tripods illustrated that Chu paid attention to the legitimacy of power. The record that King Zhuang talked about the military virtue showed Chu＇s cultural identity with Huaxia, which may be related to their Huaxia education. These records show that the Chu realized that their Huaxia identity was necessary for taking hegemony, and they stressed cultural and political other than consanguine identity with Huaxia. Considering such other records in ZUOZHUAN, it is obvious that the barbarians were affected by Huaxia and formed the Huaxia identity in Spring and Autumn Period.
