党的十八大以来,习近平站在党和国家事业发展全局的高度,围绕全面建成小康社会提出一系列新理念新思想新要求,形成了全面建成小康社会战略思想。全面建成小康社会是"两个一百年"奋斗目标中的第一个百年奋斗目标,是实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的关键一步。全面建成小康社会更重要的是"全面",包括覆盖的领域要全面、覆盖的人口要全面、覆盖的区域要全面。全面建成小康社会的基本任务,包括适应新常态、用新发展理念引领和推动经济发展,完善社会主义政治制度、建设社会主义政治文明,建设社会主义文化强国、提高国民素质和社会文明程度,保障和改善民生、维护国家安全和社会和谐稳定,建设美丽中国、为人民创造良好的生产生活环境。

Since the 18th Party Congress, for the sake of development of the Party and state, Xi Jinping has put forward a series of strategic new ideas, concepts and requirements for building a moderate prosperous society in an all-round way. To build a moderate prosperous society in an all-round way is the first ＂one hundred year goal＂, which is crucial for realizing the great dream of renewal of Chinese nation. The idea of ＂All-round＂ is the most important in building a moderate prosperous society because it includes the coverage of areas,population and regions.The fundamental tasks are adapting to the new normal economy, guiding and promoting economic development with update concepts, perfecting socialist political system and constructing socialist political civilization, building a culturally strong country, improving the national quality and social civilization, ensuring and improving the people＇s wellbeing, maintaining national security and social harmony and stability, so as to build a beautiful country, providing favorable environment of production and life for the people.
