Impacts of the Residents' Income Gap on Economy and Society

随着经济的不断发展,我国居民收入稳步上涨,居民收入差距也随之扩大。为此,党的十八届三中全会提出,要规范收入分配秩序,完善收入分配调控体制机制和政策体系,增加低收入者收入,扩大中等收入者比重,努力缩小城乡、区域、行业收入分配差距,逐步形成橄榄型分配格局。为此,要采取如下措施:完善初次收入分配制度;健全收入再分配机制;规范收入分配秩序;强化收入分配检测体系建设。依此缩小居民收入分配差距,将会对经济社会发展起巨大推动作用。

With the rapid development of economy in China, the income of residents has been rising, while the income gap becomes wider and wider. Based on this situation, the Third Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee put forward policies to standardize the income distribution, improve the system of income distribution and increase low-income earners＇ pay. The government should enlarge the proportion of middle-income earners, narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, so as to form an olive-type distribution pattern. To clarify the relationship between income disparity and economic development, point of the effective policy to narrow the income gap is a great milestone to China＇ s economic and social development.
