Hu Feng Group is one of the important parts in Chinese contemporary literary study. However, there is still not an explicit demarcation on its naming, constitution, and other corresponding spiritual connotation. The Hu Feng Group in con- temporary literary history not only is a literary group with companion tendency, but also embodies the same spiritual personali- ty, and represents a kind of literary pursuit and belief in literature. Though the ill-fated group dispersed after 1955, its spirit is still a whole. They suffered a lot and never changed their original mind, and formed an anthem-worthy and tear-jerking page in Chinese contemporary literary history. To investigate their life posture and spirit trend through purgatory, is of great advantage for in-depth knowledge on the literature and culture of a certain era. And it has irreplaceable significance for contemporary intel- ligentsia＇s spiritual growth to explore the deep reason of their thought, experience, character and spiritual insistence, and to inspect their spiritual heritage, and through which rethink a generation of intelligentsia＇ cultural mentality and character.
