随着世界多极化与经济全球化趋势的深入发展,各国之间综合国力竞争日趋激烈,意识形态领域的竞争也纷繁复杂。十一届三中全会以来,相比经济的快速发展而言,我国在文化建设方面存在着"短腿",经济文化发展的不平衡制约着社会的全面发展,人们的价值观念受经济利益的驱使,自私自利的行为日益严重,人们精神世界极度空虚,不注重内在修养和道德素质的提高。在这样的国际与国内的背景下,就亟需我们积极培育社会主义核心价值观,来维护我国国家意识形态安全、解决主导价值观失范问题。

With the development of the world multi-polarization and economic globalization, the competition for the comprehensive national strength among different countries is becoming more and more fierce, and the relevant ideological competition is also fierce and complicated. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, compared with the rapid development of econ- omy, our country has lagged in the cultural construction, and the imbalance in economic and cul- tural development restricts our social development. Some people＇s values are under the control of e- conomic interests, the egoistic behavior is gaining momentum, and some people do not pay attention to their moral education and moral quality due to the lack of good morality. Against such interna- tional and domestic backgrounds, it is necessary to actively foster the core socialist values, to main- tain our ideological security, and to solve the problem of misleading values.
