检察院监督社区矫正是检察院监督刑罚执行的重要组成部分。如何有效地发挥检察院在社区矫正工作中的监督职能,实现社区矫正制度的目的,是理论与实务界的难题。因此,有必要实证调研当前实务界的监督工作现状。文章以襄阳市高新区检察院的社区矫正检察监督工作开展情况为考察对象,总结检察监督中存在的问题,并对其原因进行分析后提出改善的建议。
