Critical Discourse Analysis towards “Chinese Dream” from British and American Mainstream

习近平总书记提出"中国梦"是国家发展和社会经济发展的指导思想。"中国梦"思想理念提出后,西方国家新闻媒体和相关信息传播平台对"中国梦"思想理念发表了批评话语,尤为突出的是英美两国英语新闻报道。对政治事件相关英语新闻报道批评语言进行深入分析,可以对西方新闻话语中所蕴含的意识形态和政治状态进行探索。

＂Chinese dream＂ put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping is the guiding ideology of the national development and social economic development. After the idea of ＂Chinese dream＂ idea was put forward, the news media and relevant information platform in western countries deliver critical discourses towards this idea, and this case is especially prominent in British and American English news reporting. This paper makes deep analysis about the critical language in the English news reporting and explores the ideological and political status contained in the western news discourse.
