摘要
利用Friedel-Crafts烷基化反应制备三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)/废旧发泡聚苯乙烯(WEPS)(50%∶50%,wt,质量分数)接枝母料,并将接枝母料添加到炭黑增强三元乙丙橡胶中,考察母料用量对EPDM硫化胶性能的影响。结果表明:WEPS可以接枝到EPDM上形成EPDM-g-WEPS接枝共聚物;接枝母料中,WEPS的接枝率为19.1%,凝胶含量为42.7%;加有接枝母料的EPDM混炼胶,其正硫化时间低于相同配比的简单共混硫化胶;扫描电镜(SEM)观察显示:含有接枝母料的EPDM硫化胶,WEPS分散相更加均匀细小,两相粘结力提高;含有接枝母料的EPDM硫化胶的性能明显优于相同配比的简单共混硫化胶;当接枝母料用量为10份时,EPDM硫化胶的性能最好,其拉伸强度为13.3MPa、断裂伸长率为556%、撕裂强度为24.8MPa。
Ethylene-propylene diene rubber(EPDM)/waste expanded polystyrene (WEPS) (50% : 50%, wt) graft- master-batch was prepared by friedel-crafts alkylation reaction, which was subsequently blended with carbon black rein- forced EPDM in order to investigate the effect of it's different dosage on the property of vulcanized EPDM. The results showed that,a copolymer of EPDM-g-WEPS could be formed during melt blending of WEPS/EPDM (50% : 50%, wt) blends via a friedel-crafts benzene ring alkylation. The graft master-batch contained 42.7 % gel and WEPS grafting ratio was 19.1 %. The consequence of cure characteristics indicated that EPDM blended with graft master-batch had shorter cure time than EPDM/WEPS simple blends of same composition. The "WEPS" dispersed phase sizes in the vulcanized EPDM blended with graft-master-batch observed from SEM images was more homogeneous and smaller, the cohesive force be- tween two phases were improved. The mechanical property of vulcanized EPDM blended with graft master-batch was better than EPDM/WEPS simple blends of same composition. The vulcanized EPDM blended with 10 phr graft master-batch had the best me- chanical property that the tensile strength was 13.3MPa,elongation at break was 556 %,tear strength was 24.8MPa.
