The 2 million coins was unearthed in the Mausoleum of Marquis of Haihun in Nanchang, it is inferred that these coins are the production of Western Han Dynasty from Emperor Wu to Emperor Xuan period. The source of this batch of coins is very rich, should include the legacy of Liu Bo (刘髆), Liu and his son Liu He (刘贺) privately produced coins and their land rent and tax field cash surplus, and it may also include Liu He's claim from the treasury when he was Emperor. This batch of coins is Liu He to seek to restore the title of Prince Changyi and prepare the funds, and later be- cause of Liu He died, no descendants inherited the title of nobility, resulting in the title was abolished, these c^ins also as buried underground.
