摘要
Objective: To study mental health condition of elderly and young adult patients suffering from cancer. Methods: The SCL-90, SAS, SDS and UCLA Loneliness Scale were administered to 126 elderly patients and 96 young patients. Results: The elderly patients with cancer showed more Loneliness and Paranoid symptoms than the young adult patients. The young adult patients showed more phobia, anxiety, and depression symptoms. Conclusions: Caner patients of different ages suffered from different mental symptoms and they should be treated differently.
