文化差异视角下的经济管理绩效研究

Research on Economic Management Performance from the Perspective of Cultural Differences

不同地区之间文化差异导致对广义生产要素的管理产生了深刻差异,对物资资本累积、人力资本、技术及制度选择等产生巨大影响,从而导致了长期宏观经济管理绩效不同;同时,文化差异也深刻影响了地区经济和社会的发展,新教伦理派生的资本主义精神催生了企业家的创造性破坏,促进了西欧经济的崛起,儒家克己精神、重视教育和社会秩序等因素结合西方的科学技术、职业技能和企业管理知识,创造了东亚奇迹。通过经济增长模型的研究说明,不同的文化资本对地区经济增长具有不同的的作用,经济发展需要文化禀赋,初始文化禀赋丰沛的区域经济有着更快的经济增长,经济富裕的地区可以更好地促进文化禀赋的增长。

Cultural differences between different regions have resulted in a profound difference in the management of generalized factors of production, having a huge impact on the accumulation of capital, human capital, technology and system choice. These lead to different performances of long- term macroeconomic management, while cultural differences also affect profoundly the development of regional economy and society. The capitalist spirit derived from the Protestant ethics gave birth to the creative destruction of the entrepreneur, and promoted the rise of the Western European economy. The combination of Confucian spirit of self-denial which attaches importance to education and social order with Western science and technology, vocational skills and business management knowledge has created a miracle in East Asia. This paper, through the economic growth model, pointed out that different cultural capitals have effects on regional economic growth; economic growth requires cultural endowment; initial cultural endowment of regional economy has a faster economic growth; cultural endowment and initial cultural endowment are positively related to economic growth; regions with prosperous economy can better promote the growth of cultural endowment.
