摘要
本文基于国家语言能力理论框架,剖析了我国非通用语教育面临的问题和挑战,并借鉴国外经验提出了相应对策。我国非通用语教育的主要问题包括语种开设缺乏规划、人才资源难以掌控、高端人才严重不足等。为保持和发展国家非通用语能力,我国应制定语言战略规划,建立语言人才资源库,改革招生体制、人才培养模式和师资培育模式。
Based on the theoretical framework of national language capacity, this paper identifies the problems and challenges encountered in the current less commonly taught languages (LCTLs) education in China, and proposes constructive measures to tackle them by drawing on the experience of foreign countries. The major problems of LCTLs education in China include the lack of planning for setting up language majors, the ineffective monitoring of language- qualified personnel resources and the scarcity of high-end talents. To maintain the present LCTLs capacity and devel- op the potential capacity, the Chinese government is suggested to make strategic plans, to build language talent tanks, and to reform the enrollment system in institutions of higher education, the model of language-qualified person- nel cultivation as well as teacher training.
