我国杰出工程师人格特征的历史测量法研究

Historiometric Study on Personality Traits of Distinguished Engineers in Modern and Contemporary China

杰出工程师为推动人类文明作出了突出贡献。研究杰出工程师身上普遍的、典型的人格特征,对于揭示杰出工程师成长规律,改革工程教育培养模式和提高工程教育质量具有重要意义。本文使用历史测量法,研究了我国近现代史上12位杰出工程师的人格特征,提出了杰出工程师五因素人格结构模型("理想立志"、"坚毅有恒"、"开拓创新"、"严谨自制"和"淡泊名利"),并列举部分事迹进行了佐证。据此提出了工程教育的三点建议:加强忧患意识教育、加强科学精神教育和加强人文素质教育。

Distinguished engineers have made outstanding contributions to civilization development. It is important to explore general personality traits of ruinous engineers and apply them to reform engineering education training model and improve its quality. Through Historiometric Study, the article studies the personality trait of 12 outstanding engineers in Modern and Contemporary China, and proposes a five-factor personality model which is composed of aspiration, perseverance, innovation, self-discipline and indifference to fame. Finally, three suggestions are presented- strengthening the sense of crisis, enhancing the education of scientific spirit and reinforcing humanistic quality education.
