摘要
对2011~2016年美国《院校研究新方向》丛书上的文章进行分析,结果显示美国院校研究存在重实践轻理论、重人员轻组织、重定量轻定性的现象。从中美比较的国际视野来看,赶上美国院校研究之重,补上美国院校研究之轻,既是中国院校研究面临的挑战,也是中国院校研究可能实现突破之处。
An analysis of the articles published on New Directions for Institutional Research from 2011 to 2016 shows that America's institutional research attaches importance to practice, personnel and quantitative research while relatively neglects theory, organization and qualitative research. Based on a comparison between China and America, the findings reveal that China's institutional research can meet challenges and make breakthroughs by gaining the three strengths in America's institutional research, and by overcoming its three limitations.
