Research on Development of US Army Information and Communication System

美军信息通信系统的发展大致可划分为3个主要阶段:国防通信系统(DCS)、全球信息栅格(GIG)和基于国防部信息网络(DODIN)构建联合信息环境(JIE)。这从某种程度上体现了伴随计算机和网络技术发展而导致的通信系统与信息系统融合发展的趋势,也是通信系统或信息系统内涵扩大的过程。从通信系统到全球信息栅格,再到国防部信息网络和联合信息环境,狭义的通信系统逐渐成为广义信息系统不可分解的构成部分。回顾了美军通信系统的发展历程,展望其发展方向,分析其发展脉络和发展特点,供相关研究人员参考借鉴。

The development phases （seedtime） of US Army information and communication system maybe compartmentalized as： Defense Communications System（ DCS）, Globe Information Grid （ GIG）, Joint Information Environment （JIE） constructed on the infrastructure of DoD Information Network（DODIN）.These phases are the embodiments of amalgamation development trends of communication system and information system,as a result of the computer and network technology development.From DCS to GIG,then to DODIN and JIE,during the development course,communication system has become an indiscerptible composing part of information system gradually. The evolution course of US Army information and communication system is reviewed, the future development direction is viewed, and the development venation and development characteristics are analyzed,for reference to interested investigators.
